Max and Harry Potter

Max declared today to be Roller Skate Day! So he took his "baby brother" skating.

These are his new punk rock arm bands that Mama knitted for him. He really likes to wear them cause "super heroes wear arm bands."

My dinosaur got dirty in the dirt. Hmm

Yes the pants are backwards. The boy loves to wear his pants that way.

Grammy sent Harry Potter three new toys. Due to the size of his cage we're on a toy rotation.

Harry really likes music. So far he likes rock n roll and mambo music.

Evening at the Beach

Shawn and I took the boys to the neighborhood beach. The weather was lovely and it was about 75-80 F. Our only regret? We didn't dress the boys in their bathing suits. The water was wonderful so the boys did a little swimming in their clothes. Ah well, the boys and the clothes wash. There was quite a bit of sand climbing and castle building.

Max is eyeing the water. It took him a while to work up the courage to go in.

Meanwhile Shawn got to take a good long walk.

More building

As our time there wore on we saw the coming and going of several ships and airplanes.

See the cargo ship in the background?

Still on his walk. He told me that at that point he had found a jelly fish

The sun came out for a few seconds.

Playign around with my panorama feature. Someday I'll get it right!

Shawn helps Max get his toes wet.

The boys didn't even look up when the planes went overhead. They are turning into such city boys.

There was much throwing of sand into the water.

Wet Butt!

We saw a couple of heliocopters running drills over the bay.

The pier which is just 2blocks from our house.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. It spans the bay and connects the Eastern Shore to Virginia Beach. On the other side is the Atlantic Ocean.

Mo went for a swim.

So did Max.

Found object art! We threw all the trash away after it was used to make a castle.

Max found a seagull feather that they used as a flag.

Down the beach towards the ocean.

Fair Day

Morgan spent 20 minutes loosening up his tooth enough to pull it out. Ick! But you have to admire that persistence.

Max proved to be an ace at bean bag games. I could only get one picture with a bag in the frame as it is the only time he missed!

And he got 25 points with the football toss. Future quarterback?

Max and the donkey became fast friends.

We took the boys to a community fair. There were carnival games, cotton candy, and a petting zoo.
