This Sunday was hair cut day at the Hauk's Nest. Mo insisted on getting spiky hair which meant an end to the Atreyu look. I was sad about that. We went to the barbers at the Navy Exchange. Max kept saying he wanted a mohawk. I told him we already had one but he didn't get the joke.
After that we went to Friendly's for ice cream! Max got a volcano sundae that he decorated with M&M's, sprinkles, and bits of cake. Mo opted for a two scoop cone.
The shelves you see are for the boys clothes. We figured that it would be easier for them to put their own clothes away with these.
Notice Shawn's new bowler? A bowler hat is the reason I agreed to a date with the man in the first place. I met him outside a dorm building at WIU and didn't really give him much thought (sorry honey) but the next day I was having lunch with a girlfriend and I saw this guy sitting across the room. He was wearing this fantastic brown bowler but I couldn't see his face. I went over to complement his hat and it turned out to be the same guy. We ate lunch together and two days later had our first date and the rest is history.
